Kurt Kuehn Obituary
The memory of Kurt Kuehn (Miramar Beach, Florida), who passed away on November 27, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Though Kurt may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Kurt touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Kuehn and Alois Kuehn; and his wife Claire. He is also survived by his six children, twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was very emotional and grateful for the recognition as he was able to attend the inaugural Jae Lim Foundation awards presentation of the annual "Kurt Kuehn Mathematics Award".
