It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Gaunt of Miramar Beach, Florida, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Gaunt and Louise Gaunt. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne (Pat); his children, Lori Kijowski (Raymond), Lisa Martin (Christopher) and Richard Jr. Gaunt (Amy); his grandchildren, Wesley Kijowski (Melanie), Kevin Kijowski (Jennifer), Danielle Catchpole III (David), Nicole Geil (Major Brian), Cody Martin (Hunter), Chadwick Gaunt (Hailey) and Jackson Gaunt (Brieanne); his great grandchildren, Penny, Abram, Laylah, Kaylee, Madelyn, Noah, Auburn and Griffin; and his pet Pixie.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations in his memory to Alaqua Animal Refuge (http://www.alaqua.org), an organization whose mission reflects his lifelong affection for animals.
