She was predeceased by: her parents, Dallas Neal Vickers Sr. and Mary Alice Vickers (Morris). She is survived by: her husband Charles Edmond Driskell; her sons, Christopher Lee Driskell (Elizabeth Ruth Driskell) and Steven Edmond Driskell; her granddaughter Elyta Rose Driskell; her sisters, Debra Celeste York (Vickers) and Mary Jane Capron (Vickers); and her pet Ava.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation in Verita's memory.
