He was predeceased by: his parents, Ragnar Weng and Mathilda Bierrman Weng; and his sister Marie Jalbert. He is survived by: his wife Imigean T. Weng; his children, Ray Tinch (Margie), Cynthia Banister (Ralph), Dana Rausch (Joanne), Gary Weng (Tanya) and Russell Weng (Barbara); his grandchildren, Sarah Tinch, Matthew Tinch (Jessica), Audra Lyons (Steven), Cody Banister, Kari Tyree (Mike), Aaron Rausch, Tyler Weng (Kaitlyn) and David Weng (Luis); and his brothers, Donald Weng, Richard Weng and Robert Weng. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
