She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vaughn and Clara Vaughn; her husband Eugene Ward; her children, Renee Girlie, Charlotte Ward and Timothy Ward; and her siblings, Myrtle Strickland, Lucille Duval, Voncille Smith, Mildred Self, Shirley Vaughn, Billy Vaughn and Glen Vaughn.
She is survived by: her son Ronnie Ward (Barbara); her brother Walter Vaughn (Jane); and her grandchildren, James Barker, Natticha Spencer, Wayne Vaughn, Charlotte Rodgers, Karry Ward, Matthew Ward, Alicia Allen and Hunter Ward. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
