She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lee McDole and Bobbie McDole Carver; her brother Michael Leon McDole; and her husband David Ralston Highsmith. She is survived by: her sister Cynthia Morris (William) of Whigham, Georgia; and her children, Anthony Anderson Jones (Danielle) of Friendship, Jacqueline Morgan Roze (Adam) of Hanover, Maryland and Jesse Dalton Smith (McKenzie) of Thomasville, Georgia. She is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
