He was predeceased by : his parents, Catherine Hay and Hampton Martin; his stepfather Art Hays; his sister Mary Martin Petee; his wife Kay Lamb Martin; and his son Jason Martin.

He is survived by : his special love JoAnn Demott; his grandsons, Tyler and Jared Martin; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Martin; and his sister Sue Martin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, several cousins.
