He is survived by: his wife Mary Nesbitt Brown; his children, Joseph Brown, Jr., Elizabeth B. Patterson (Willie), Jennifer Brown, Adreaunna B Nelson (Joseph), Zachary Trice, Cannetta B. Patterson and Christopher Haynie; and his brothers, Frank Brown (Ruth) and Eddie Brown (Edwenia). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Tillman Funeral Home (1215 N Jefferson St, Monticello, FL 32344). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Missionary Baptist Church (780 2nd St, Monticello, FL 32344). A burial was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at the Hickory Hill Cemetery (493 Bassett Dairy Rd, Monticello, FL 32344).
