He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Bell and Rena Bell Walker; and his sister Zella Ann Scott-Ward. He is survived by: his children, Debra Sauls and Joseph H. Bell, Jr. (Joe); and his sister Lille Mae Kinsey.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to Central Baptist Church in Aucilla, Florida, the American Heart Association or Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee.
