He is survived by: his wife Beulah Laslie Brinson Bird; his daughter Abigail Bird Donovan (Peter) of Austin; his granddaughters, Clara and Helena; his sister Elizabeth Lee Bird Leavengood of Tampa; his niece Ann Giles; his nephew Hansel Leavengood; his family, Beulah, Margaret Brinson Kolke (Scott), Edward Brinson (Mary), Carolyn Brinson Norvell (Louis) and Joe Brinson (Nicole); his caregivers, Deloris Maxwell, Sally Lamar, Carolyn Nealey, Cathi McKee, La'Sasha Bright, Carolin Bryant and Martha Massay; Preston, Richard, Martha, Henry, Meg, Caroline, Sam, Bailey and Parker.
