She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald Heichelbech and Barbara Wells. She is survived by: her children, Keisha Wright Mertens (Mike), Darrius Heichelbech (Storey), Eric Heichelbech, Joseph Robinson and Brittany Hall; her grandchildren, Silas Heichelbech (Pumpkin) and Kobyn Mertens (Peanut); her former husband Eddie Robinson; her stepmother Jeanette Heichelbech; and her brothers, Ronnie Joe Heichelbech (Melissa), Steve Heichelbech (Holly) and Brad Heichelbech (Megan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephew, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of Saint Dismas Church (2017 Mercy Dr, Orlando, FL 32808).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Debra Newson to Cathedral of Saint Dismas Church at the Orlando Bridge.
