She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Bell and Beulah Bell; her husband William Pettengill; her grandson Ian Pettengill; and her brothers, Murney, Clayton and Dennis Bell.
She is survived by: her sons, David Pettengill and Mark Pettengill; her daughter-in-law Elise Pettengill; her grandsons, Jesse McCarter and Quentin Pettengill; and her sister Carol Bell Culp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
