He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeeb Katen and Elsie Katen. He is survived by: his wife Paula; his daughter Christine; his son-in-law Michael; his brother Fred; and his nephew Scott Katen. He is also survived by numerous other family members, neighbors, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in George's memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
