She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Edgar Thomas; her son James Ashley Thomas; her grandson Daniel F Linder II; her parents, Reverend J. W. Moore (Eula Belle) and Mary Aldrich; and her siblings, Shelley Pearle Moore, Danny Moore and Ray Collins.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Mary; her children, Tammy Thomas and Steve "Stevie" Thomas (Shannon); her grandchildren, Joshua Linder, Mary E. Linder, April McCloy (Chris), Alicia Deal (Marshall), Amber Thomas (Justin), Macallin Thomas, Dakota Thomas and Katie Lanier; and her sisters, Mary Jeannette Scogin (Coley) and Sallie Hodges. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
