He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Woods and Earline Woods (Bell); his wife Shirley Woods; and his son Danny Joe Woods. He is survived by: his children, Perry Woods (Danays), Jerry Woods and Tammy Chadwell (Rick). He is also survived by three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ (1148 US-92, Auburndale, FL 33823). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
