With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Douglas Sharer of Mulberry, Florida, born in Binghamton, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Myrt. He is survived by: his cousin Nancy; his wife Joyce; his stepfather Jim; his brothers, Bob (Dawn) and Ron (Shirley); his sisters-in-law, Ida and Sandy; his siblings, Gary (Shirley), Dale, Susie (Jon) and Sherrie (Paul); his children, George (Melissa) and Mona (Mark); his grandchildren, Marky (Mark), Angel (Dillon), Chasity and Dillon; his great grandchildren, Brayden, Brantley, Joycelen, Trinitie, Kinslee and Larry; and his grandchild Westyn.
His family asks that any donations be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
