He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Carmichael of Carmichael's Paint; his children, Brenda Baumgardner (Sam), Scott Brady and Lamar Eugene Carmichael Jr. (Mark); his grandchildren, Joshua Keen (Lori), Jacob Brannan, Leah Brannan and Trinady Carmichael; and his great grandchildren, Lucas Brannan and Violet Carmichael. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
