She was predeceased by : her parents, Genaro Rodriquez and Maria L. Colunga; her husband Alejandro Almaraz, Sr.; and her daughters, Adela Henderson and Maria Luisa Sotello.

She is survived by : her children, Alejandro Almaraz, Jr., Jose F. Almaraz, Mary Esparza, Yolanda Guerrero, Marisela Sandoval, Margie Arevalo and Rosa Gomez; and her siblings, Maruca Marin and Miguel Rodriquez. She is also survived by several grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
