With sadness, we share the passing of Oscar Darnell Baker Jr. of Mulberry, Florida. Oscar, born on March 6, 1961, passed away on August 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his children, Oscar Baker-Hill, Nakita Baker, Takeyah Covington and Lanina Baker; and his siblings, Lorne Baker, Vanisa Baker, Marcus Baker and Kandis Baker Buford (Willie). He is also survived by five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Gause Funeral Home (625 S Holland Pkwy, Bartow, FL 33830).
