He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Antonio Polito and Concetta Polito; his children, Janet Polito of Bonita Springs, FL and Robert Polito (Alfredo) of Wilton Manors, FL; his sister Rose Miller of Virginia; his nephew David Buccheri; his niece Deana Buccheri; and his caregiver Laura Heilman.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in his name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity of one's choice.
