As Burton departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Burton. Though Burton may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Antonette Boersma; and his parents, Valerie Boersma and Harry Boersma. He is survived by: his brother Larry Allen Boersma; and his sibling's children, Christine Marie Boersma Smith (Toby), Connee Jozelle Dawson (Michael), Scott Burton Boersma (Bari), Todd Lawrence Boersma (June) and Gregg Patrick Boersma. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (5130 Rattlesnake Hammock Rd, Naples, FL 34112).
