He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Carlysle MacLea and Virginia Paca Beatson; his former wife Patricia Sollers MacLea; and his brother Herbert MacLea. He is survived by: his wife Sherrie; his children, Daniel C. MacLea III (Magda) of Houston and Lynn Chambers (Edward) of Morrisville; and his stepchildren, Rick Sparks of Charlottesville, Peter Sparks (Margery) of Vero Beach and Patricia Barnes (Rick) of White Marsh, Maryland.. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five step grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
