He is survived by: his wife Patricia Young; his daughters, Melinda Stewart (Tarun Stewart) of Darien, CT and Jennifer Barton (Willard Morgan) of Alna, Maine.; his grandchildren, Malcolm, Rowan Stewart, Sierra and Zella Morgan; his brother Kenneth Barton; and his brother-in-law Robert Young.
