He is survived by: his wife Lavonne Cowan (Evans); his children, Christine Smith (Robert), Glen Cowan (Michael Mate), David Cowan (Karen) and Elizabeth Sweeney (Michael); his grandchildren, Lela Gascoigne (Alex), Clark Gascoigne (Darcy), Benjamin Gascoigne (Suzanne), Andrew Cowan, Grace Cowan, Thomas Sweeney (Cheyenne), Ryan Sweeney (Bailey) and Daniel Sweeney; his great grandchildren, Claire, Julia, Max and Elise; James and Cynthia Gascoigne.
