He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer Durkin; his siblings, Nancy Gehring, Patricia May and Jimmy Durkin; and his parents, Thomas Durkin and Edith Durkin.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothea Kondes Durkin (Dot); his son Michael; and his daughter-in-law Korrin. He is also survived by sisters- and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews and their children.
