He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Spano and Adele Spano (Ragosta); his sisters, Josephine (Calka) and Frances Spano; and his wife Josephine Spano.
He is survived by: his brother Sebastian "Sid" Spano; his children, Susan Spano (Bob), Jill Spano, Jacqueline Spano, Christopher Spano and Daniel Spano (Terry); and his close friend Anna. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
