He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hunter and Mary Hunter; and his sister Lily. He is survived by: his former wife Linda Bethel; his sons, Thomas Edward Hunter and Edward P. Hunter; his wife Lucila Hunter-Navarro; his siblings, Jimmy (Benny), Marie, Patricia and Jeannette; and his stepchildren, Jeffrey Benoit and Tracy Whitten.
