He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth McIntyre, Sr. and Carolyn McIntyre. He is survived by: his wife Patricia McIntyre. He is also survived by eight children; eighty-seven grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ellsworth also authored a book on Christian education, wrote many articles, was an ardent supporter of R. J. Rushdoony and the Chalcedon Foundation, and served as pastor of Nicene Covenant Church.
