He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jeffries and Gustava Jeffries (Johnson); his former wife Rose Marie (Chelf); his brothers, Ernest and Orland; his son Bradley; and his stepdaughter Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Muriel Jeffries; his sister Nancy; his daughter Roxanne; his grandchildren, Alex, Grant, Clark (Erum), Sterling and Savannah; his stepsons, Douglas, Jeffrey, Richard, William and James; and his great grandchild Elias. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the University of Iowa President's Club in recognition of his generous support and contributions to The University Foundation, including cancer, glaucoma, and juvenile diabetes research funds.
