He was predeceased by: his former wife Lois Anne Jaarda (Fredricks); his parents, Gerald Jaarda and Kathleen Jaarda (Elenbaas); his in-laws, Russel J. and Audrey Fredricks (Beckman); and his siblings-in-law, Steve Bushouse, Edgar "Ed" Fredricks and Helen Fredricks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Snyder Jaarda of Naples; his children, Christopher (Kristen Jaarda), Virginia, Jennifer (Morgan Buffington) and Jeffrey (Becky Jaarda); his grandchildren, Beckman, Catherine "Kate" Jaarda of Mclean, Audrey, Lilly-Frances Buffington of Greenville and Brendan McHale of Winter Park, Florida.; his siblings, Patricia Bushouse (Gary) of Holland, James (Faye Fredricks), Kathy (Phillip Kornoelje) and Ruth (Dave Larkin); his goddaughter Katie Garcia (TerHaar); and his caregiver Winston Parkes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
