He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Ihnat and Susan Halychek Ihnat; his wife Mary Ann Kupiec Ihnat; his son Dr. Richard Ihnat; his daughters-in-law, Aysin Koperan of St. Louis, MO and Dr. Chelsea Ihnat of Edina, MN.; his grandchildren, Kody, Jacqueline, Jocelyn, Lilah, Greta, Sawyer, Nichole and Chloe; and his sister Helen Badri of Chicago. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
