He was predeceased by: his wife Vita; his parents, George Louis Schoenbeck I and Irene Gignac Schoenbeck; and his brother Gary Schoenbeck. He is survived by: his children, Bethany Rose Rettberg (Matthew), George Louis III (Carolina) and Thomas Vincent Schoenbeck; his grandchildren, Henry Robert, Jonathan George, Ann Kathleen Rettberg, Leonardo Vincenzo and Luciana Irma Schoenbeck; and his siblings, Gloria Kretchmer (William), Gail Schoenbeck, Gwen Hucko (John) and Glen Schoenbeck (Candy).
