With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Carter McKaig of Naples, Florida, who passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Arthur McKaig and Gertrude P. McKaig. He is survived by: his wife Virginia (Ginny); his sons, Christopher of Annapolis, MD, Mark (Cathy) of Bethesda, MD, Colin (Courtney) of West Windsor, VT and Kevin (Nancy) of Orono, ME; his brother Brady P. McKaig; his former wife Jane Deo McKaig; and his close friends, Carter and Ginny. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
