He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. McVey and Evelyn Hubenak McVey; and his sister Debra Mcvey Plato. He is survived by: his wife Jodell Zahn McVey of Skaneateles, NY; his children, Lindsey Cook (Travis) of Portland, ME, Jenna Elkins (Kevin) of Nashville, TN and Ryan McVey (Caitlin) of Nashville, TN; his grandchildren, Connor, Annabelle Elkins and Charlie Parker McVey; his siblings, Patsy Flint (Edward) and Glenn McVey (Jana); and his brother-in-law Edward Plato of Texas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made made to Upstate Cancer Center in his name, or Skaneateles Volunteer Ambulance-SAVES, Skaneateles, NY.
