It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jan C. Doetsch in Naples, Florida, born in Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on November 14, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Jan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Carlton and Marie Doetsch (Cooley); her brother-in-law Gerry Wheeler; her uncles, Matthew A. Doetsch, Jr., James W. Cooley and Elmon Burton; and her aunt Doris (Doetsch).
She is survived by: her sister Karla Wheeler (Doetsch); her niece Jenny Lee Wheeler; her brother-in-law Gary Asztalos; and her aunt Jeanne Hillyer (Doetsch).
