She is also survived by grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

“I met Janice in 1993 shortly after I was diagnosed with MS & took over the Naples National MS Society support group. We quickly became friends. With MS strangers become your family! She & Bill lived nearby & we celebrated our shared religious holidays. Janice was a survivor but also an educator always volunteering to be a patient for the MS Nursing Clinical Experience thru the Heil Luthringer Foundation. She inspired her fellow MS Gals with monthly luncheon invitations to the Olive Garden.”
