He is survived by: his sons, Ward Nichols (Sue) of Saint Paul, MN, Timothy Nichols of South St, Andrew Nichols (Anna) of Crystal, MN and Matt Nichols (Jen) of Buffalo, MN; and his siblings, Gwendolyn and Ben.
