He was predeceased by: his father Joe Leon Pope; and his brothers, Jerry Pope and Michael Pope. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Pope; his children, Sherry Casey (Kevin), Joe Pope (Marita) and John Pope (Laura); his grandchildren, Bennett Casey, Paige Demartin, Rachel Pope, Heidi Pope, Jenna Pope, Reese Pope, Michael Angell, Abby Borne, Brooke Dinger and Cody Voisin; his great grandchildren, Tyler Demartin and Calum Casey; his sister-in-law Joanne Santangini (Edward); his caregiver Marie Auguste; and his family Marines. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that Joe's memory be honored by thanking a veteran, supporting those who have served our nation, or simply spending time with the people you love most—just as Joe always did.
