He was predeceased by: his father John R Astling, Jr.; and his brother James William Astling. He is survived by: his mother Alice M Astling (Lon Brandenburg); his siblings, Janette Greenfield (Dave), Alice Zimmer (Larry) and Joseph Astling (Faith); and his nieces and nephews, Anthony Astling, Krysta Greenfield, Lily Astling and Jamie Zimmer. He is also survived by his extended family and many friends.
