He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John E. Fay and Jeanne Fay (Marvin); his wife Carole; his sons, Matthew Fay (Kathleen) of Avon, OH, Joel Fay of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Lucas Fay (Montana) of Denver, CO; the mother of his children Susan Fay of Denver; his stepchildren, Kate Prowse of Newbury, Berkshire, Matthew Carle (Jennifer) of Aldi, VA and Avery Carle of Oakland, CA.; his grandchildren, Leah, Owen Fay, Fiona Fay, Willa, Branch Fay, Austin, Nicholas, Annabelle, Penelope Prowse, Max and Mikey Carle; his siblings, Jackie Goldman of Tucson, AZ, Jeannie Niedich of Manhattan, NYC and Joseph Fay of Des Moines, IA; his niece Kate Goldman Bermudez; and his nephew Eric Wheelis.
