With sadness, we share the passing of John O'Flaherty (Naples, Florida). John, born on May 9, 1948, passed away on July 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph O'Flaherty and Virginia Alice Machewicz O'Flaherty. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dorfmeyer of Rocky River; his sister Eileen Schreiner (Mark); his niece Bethany; his nephew Brian; his sister-in-law Martha Rhein; his nieces, Rachel, Emily and Laura; his nephew George; his brother-in-law Robert Dorfmeyer, Jr.; and his nieces and nephews, Jocelyn and Jessica. He is also survived by spouses and children.

This was never more apparent than when he was diagnosed with cancer during the 2020 pandemic.
