He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hicks and Bertha Hicks; and his brother Jeffery. He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey; his wife Carolyn; his sons, Rob Hicks (Gail) of Hillsboro and Jay Hicks of Lakeland, Florida; his stepchildren, Kelley Bortnem (Craig) of Minnesota and Ian Spradling (Michelle) of Delaware; his grandchildren, Brandon, Kirstin, Jesse, Jayden, Cara, Connor, Zoey and Zander; and his sisters, Judith (Jerry) and Janet. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
