He is survived by: his significant other Phyllis; his children, Linda Lee Kirchdorfer of Naples, FL and Caleb; his daughter-in-law Janis Kirchdorfer of Lexington, KY; and his sisters, Ruthie Ackerman, Donna Funk and Kay Cain. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
