She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Theresa Terwiel (VanderMeer) and Nicholas John Terwiel; her husband John Anthony Dykstra of Englewood; her children, Kim DeFily (Chris) and Karen Hutfilz (Steve); her grandchildren, Amanda (Tommy), Nick, Jordan, Jim, Jenna and Jake; her great grandchildren, Grayson and Carter; her sister Eileen; and her brother-in-law Harry Meier of Naperville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory (15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
