He is survived by: his wife Judith Hardesty; his children, Scott Hardesty, Denise Sutton and Leanne Hardesty; his siblings, Sterling Hardesty and Martha Roberts; his stepdaughter Nicole Simpson; his granddaughter Jessica Smith; and his great grandchildren, Alex and Jack Smith.
