It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mason Doubleday Colby (Naples, Florida), born in Montclair, New Jersey, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitney Coffin Colby and Elizabeth Murphy Colby; his stepmother Virginia Fisk Colby; and his siblings, Bets, Barry, Lynn, Whitney and Chuck.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jerome Colby; his brother Tony Colby (Winkie); his daughters, Bonnie Colby (Ted Weinert), Jennie Holstein (Kurt) and Carrie Tate (Bill); his grandchildren, George Saliba (Katy), Peter Saliba, Korey Sargent, Lauren Holstein, Kelsey Holstein and Charlotte Tate; and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Cameron and Lillian. He is also survived by his family and the many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity or Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church.
