He was predeceased by: his parents, Abbas and Shahrbanou; and his siblings, Maryam, Marzieh, Iran and Mohammed.

He is survived by: his wife Asieh; his children, Bobeck (Andrea Shayegani), Aryan (Frank Bruno) and Susan (Rob Ellison); his grandchildren, Cole, Kion, Aidan, Max, Alex, Justin, Cyrus and Jasper; and his sisters, Tahereh and Pouran. He is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews.
