He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Shinners and Mary Shinners (Beirne). He is survived by: his wife Annarose Shinners (Maguire); his children, Jennifer Amatulle (Philip) of Naples, FL and Matthew Shinners (Christa) of Westfield, NJ; his grandchildren, Jack (Ilona), Philip (Allison), Nicholas, Matthew, Christopher and Juliette; and his brother Paul R. Shinners (Michelle) of Wanaque, NJ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider donating to American Red Cross or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
