He is survived by: his wife Barbara Richman; his children, Mindy Kaplan (Jeff) and Steve Katz (Annette); his grandchildren, Ryan Katz (Kaleigh), Jordan Kaplan (Alyssa) and Sydney Katz Schoff (Austin); and his brother Leo. He is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
