She was predeceased by: her parents, Dora Akeley and Paul Akeley; her brother Timothy; and her niece Jessica. She is survived by: her husband Kent Higgins; her daughter Kristin Loukes (Aaron); and her grandchildren, Chloe, Lucy and Charles Loukes.
